About Morph Tools
The short version. Morph Tools makes drywall and plaster sanding tools that work from the ground, designed by an Aussie tradesman.
They are used by drywall tapers, finishers and plasterers in Australia, the United States and Canada.
Morph Corner Sander
The Morph Sander is a corner sander that lets you sand internal corners from the ground on a standard corner finishing handle. No ladder, no bending.
The head sits in the corner and sands both faces in one pass. Patent pending.
It comes with one Hyperflex tip. The handle is sold separately.
Morph Master Pole Sander
The Morph Master is a pole sander for drywall joins and walls. It fits a standard paint pole.
It runs two Trim-Tex Black Widow pads lengthways, covers the whole join in one pass, and weighs about a third of the old Joinmaster it replaced.
Ball Adaptor
The Ball Adaptor is a fitting that lets you run the Morph corner sander on a standard paint pole. It is for anyone who doesn't want to spend what a corner finishing handle costs.
Pads and tips
Elite corner sanding pads are the abrasive the Morph Sander was built around. Hyperflex tips are the replacement nose for the sander.
The Morph System
The Morph System bundle is the corner sander, the pole sander and a pack of pads together, for less than buying them one at a time.
Who makes it
Morph Tools is run by James Weihoenig, a Brisbane plasterer (what Australians call a drywall taper and finisher).
James spent years sanding internal corners by hand, up and down a ladder, and built the first Morph Sander to stop doing that.
The tools are designed in Queensland, tested on real jobs, and changed when the people using them say something could be better. The Hyperflex tip, for example, went through six months of versions sent out to customers before it went on sale.
